You can always take a walk in the Botanical Gardens, which are 20 minutes by foot from the Cathedral. The entry is free and you can stroll among the several Victorian bridges and pavilions and you can admire the palms and lily ponds.However, better walk only on the marked tracks and don't go visiting by night.
