You can go to Dubalay Ranch, a nice resort place on the Berbice River which has forests, savannas and swamps. You can take boat trips or go riding or birdwatching or just relax. Usually, there are custom-made packages with 3 meals and soft drinks but no transportation to the area (ask at Shell Beach Adventures, on Le Meridien Pegasus).
